I've just learned how to pray Morning and Evening Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours, but I'm confused on the days of Lent, or other holy days, when there are "saints prayers" and "optional memorials." What concluding prayer is done on these days?

Paragraph 239 of the General Instruction for the Liturgy of the Hours, states you may pray either the Lenten prayer of the day or the saints prayer of the day. This is also true for the antiphon before the Benedictus or Magnificat, where one may pray the regular Lenten antiphon or the "saints" antiphon. This is the leader's choice.
