Day two of the bike trip, we headed north towards Tibet, leaving Greg to get back to work. It is a beautiful day, and many take advantage of the warm weather to have a picnic by the river.
This is a group of monks from the "Namo Buddha Meditation and Educational Centre" according to the bus. I liked the picture because the monks are all doing different, typical picnic things. I made the large version of the picture bigger than normal so that you could look around and see what people are up to. In the center, some are getting a group photo taken. On the left by the river, some are washing. Bewteen these two groups are some local children who are just there to watch. In the river are some monks playing in the water. In the back are two monks engaged in serious conversation. Such a group.
