Today is Thanksgiving in America, and I have so much to be thankful for. More than I can say, more than I can carry in my heart, my life and time here in Nepal are incredible blessings. My prayer:
Good and loving God,
you we hardly know
but we see your love for us everywhere;
in the sun that shines, the rain that falls and the crops that grow;
in the friends and family you give us to share our food with,
in our very lives.
We thank you for all of these many blessings you shower upon us.
Help us to always remember that these things are gifts from you,
given in love,
meant to be shared not just with those we love
but with all people;
For your love knows no bounds,
and your blessings no limits,
and for this, more than anything,
we give you thanks.
